I Dreamt I Was Naked

There are hundreds of books and internet websites which readily show you how to interpret your dreams. It's fabulous. If you type "dream analysis" in the search box on the internet, over 72 pages of website listings pop up for your pleasure. Among those listings are people who happily offer to interpret your dreams for you.

So why am I writing this book? Well, hopefully, I can guide you to a system of recording your dreams, and then interpreting them yourself so that they are an exclusive personal look into your very unique & personalized psyche. Because the fact is, and I don't care what anyone says, NO ONE KNOWS YOU BETTER THAN YOURSELF. Even if you go to a shrink, you don't necessarily tell this person everything about yourself. You might be too embarrassed, or too shy, or simply don't REMEMBER certain experiences & events in your life. Well, your psyche does. It may not be able to bring those experiences & events to your conscious memory, but it's in there... inside of you somewhere. And each night, when you're asleep, your psyche tries to reveal these hidden memories to you if it becomes important for you to remember it.

If you've suppressed memories because they are painful or difficult to accept in any way, professional therapists are trained to elicit these things from you. And that's not a bad thing. If you like it and it works for you and you can afford it, go to a therapist and benefit from the experience.

On the other hand, if you want to be self-sufficient in handling daily issues independent of such guidance, then just pay attention to your dreams. The advantage of you interpreting your own dreams is that it'll be more accurate than looking symbols up in the dictionary. It's important not only to recognize the symbols but to personalize them to fit your unique persona, as we'll see in Chapter 4. If you enjoy puzzles, whodunit novels & mysterious events, then you probably would enjoy interpreting your dreams.

 Atop Pegasus

Orphaned at a young age and adopted by her eccentric aunt, Lara cannot overcome the loneliness and isolation which overshadows her very existence.

Then, one day, she falls in love. From that time forward, her existence finds meaning only in the context of her passion for George. The fact that he is happily married to his invalid wife does not deter her. In time, that very determination draws her into a forbidden relationship.

This is a story of love -- childhood love, adolescent unrequited love, and the maturing, blossoming love of a young adult female, who must come to terms with all the moral and emotional challenges which accompany an illicit love affair. In the end, through all the angst and soul searching which inundate Lara and George, they discover that love given from the deepest core of the heart cannot help but find its own unsullied truth.

Book of Yes: A Reinterpretation of the Ten Commandments for the New Millenium

Using the Ten Commandments as a reference, Tessie Jayme shows how to give a contemporary, self-empowering interpretation to the traditional mandates from “God.”

Today’s modern viewpoint of God is no longer the despotic, giant, human-like icon who lives in “heaven” and is constantly keeping track of human daily transgressions. Rather, contributions from the scientific community have altered that traditional image somehow.

Today, God is more likely to be viewed as an infinite, indestructible energy force which enlivens every aspect of life in all its forms. Today, we assume responsibility for creating our own lives and the circumstances which govern our daily events. Recognizing and embracing our innate ability to shape our individual lives gives us the POWER to choose our paths. It also gives us the power to view the Ten Commandments as guiding principles rather than despotic mandates.

“BOOK OF YES “ is a way of viewing the world so that you can become a “Yes” person… one who says YES to opportunities, to adventure, to happiness, and much more.

"Her engaging, down to earth style and positive attitude sets this book apart from other, more ponderous tomes on dream analysis.
I highly recommend it."  - Amazon Reader
